The Manager, Investor Development is responsible for recruiting and helping retain investors of the organization.  Provides a point of contact for investors and prospects. 

  • Renew existing investor businesses
  • Prospect for new investors
  • Demonstrates in depth knowledge of GLI products and services
  • Serves as first point of contact to the business community.
  • Know about issues of importance to investor and prospect executives
  • Assess investor and prospect needs
  • Develop and/or maintain investor and/or prospect databases
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and correspondence
  • Deliver customer service that aids in investor retention and satisfaction
  • Recruit new top investors
  • Deliver new and renewal revenue based on goals from Vice President
  • Manage an account list as assigned to maintain level of satisfaction as determined by Vice President
  • Entertain investors or prospects at GLI events, lunches, dinners
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma and some post-secondary education in business or sales plus two (2) years experience in a sales position.  A combination of education and experience may be substituted when proficiency is demonstrated.

Exceptional communications skills and the ability to work with top level executives.

Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Ability to maintain composure and provide excellent customer service at all times.

The incumbent must be able to pass any required drug test.  The incumbent must be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.
