Under minimal supervision, develops and facilitates engagement opportunities to convene and connect executive level participants

Develop, prioritize and maintain a comprehensive database including;

  1. Potential event venues, meeting spaces, and conference space and execute on use of new, different event facilities with appropriate technology, parking and other resources

  2. All internal and investor-led events with tracking of internal, agency and community relationships that influence who should attend the event / own the relationship

  3. All community contacts, current and potential investors, thought leaders (national and local) that should be invited to participate in marketing activities, events, projects and network initiatives throughout the year

  4. Updating of investor and prospect database using dual CRM & CMS

Assist in event planning, preparation, and implementation for all educational and social events -

Perform background research on presenters, arrange agenda, assemble content for presentations, investor meetings, committee meetings, etc.

Organize and manage regular meetings including but not limited to board, executive committee, finance, and nominating committee meetings, health policy forums and other ad hoc meetings and events as they are developed

Issue committee and meeting invitations and keep invitees apprised of important event details and any changes (date, time, location, etc.)

Manage and administer invoicing of bi-annual investor dues, sponsorships, registrations, other revenue items and aging reports

Assist with proposals, presentations and bi-annual publications

Research key issues in health care, staying updated on latest news and trends

Perform other duties as assigned

 

Employee may be required to drive at night or in inclement weather from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Associate degree in Accounting, Communications, Marketing, or Business and at least 1 year of work experience in a professional setting is required. A combination of education and experience may be substituted when proficiency is demonstrated. Employee should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Employee must have a basic understanding of CMS/CRM and Email Marketing Software.

 

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Employee should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Employee must have a basic understanding of CMS/CRM and Email Marketing Software. Healthcare experience and knowledge is a plus.
